The Open Water Diver course is, globally, the most popular way for people to be introduced to the adventurous scuba diving lifestyle.

The Open Water Course consists of three main modules and con be completed in as few as 3 days. Because of its modular design the course can be started at home and then completed in as little as 2 days with us.
Academic Development
Academics can be done online or in class
The academic portion of the course will introduce you to the world of scuba and cover some very important aspects of the sport such as:
- Breathing air underwater & basic physiology
- Dive equipment
- Underwater environment
- Communication and safe diving practices
- Problem Management
- Confined and Open Water dive previews
To suit the different learning needs and busy schedules that people have, the academic component can be completed as follows:
- on-line tutorials, videos and exams
- class sessions "at home" before your trip
- in-class sessions with experienced instructors and other students
Pool Skills

Following on from you academic session you take the first exciting breaths from your regulator, underwater, in the swimming pool.
Your confidence will rapidly build as your instructor takes you through a series of skills to improve your buoyancy and prepare you to prevent minor problems becoming significant issues.
Over the course of a few hours you'll be doing more complex practice dives until you're ready for the final component...
Open Water Dives
A new source of lifetime memories
...the Open Water Dives.
Your comfort and skills will be enhanced as you undertake a minimum of 4 Open Water dives. Buoyancy, navigation and problem management will start to become second nature as you really begin to understand your interaction with the underwater realm.
By the end of the course you should have the confidence to lead the dive and be aware of time and depths of the dive, you and your buddies air supply and navigation in terms of finding waty to a safe exit point.
