A considerable amount of work goes into preparing your charter or instruction inorder to make everything runs as smoothly as possible and you get the best service we can offer.

 

To ensure fairness to fellow divers, students, instructors and crew we have created a few simple policies for bookings:

Deposits

A 50% deposit will be taken for private charters, groups of four (4) or more people & all courses.

 

Full payment will be required, at time of booking, when dates coincide with US Holidays and periods 24hrs before and after.

 

Deposits can be paid using cash, PayPal or major credit cards.

Final Payment

Final payments should be made 72 hours prior to the commencement of your booking.

 

Payments can be made using cash, PayPal or major credit cards. We are unable to accept checks, unless by prior arrangement.

Cancellations: By You

Things change so we want to be as flexible as we can with your booking.

 

If you wish to reschedule your booking we will honor your quoted price for a six (6) month period. Between six (6) months and one (1) year we will provide you with a credit for any of our offered services at the time of re-booking.

 

Should you wish to cancel and receive a refund the following schedule applies:

Please note:

  1. All refunds will be subject to a 5% charge to cover merchant services fees.
  2. Refunds can not be made on opened/used student materials
  3. Deposits paid to 3rd party providers by us, on behalf of your booking, will be subject to their policies.

Cancellations: Weather/Mechanical

If we need to cancel a particular charter due to weather or mechanical problems we will:

  1. Attempt to rearrange the charter around your schedule
  2. Offer one (1) year credit, OR
  3. Provide you with a full refund for your trip.

Gratuities

We use instructors, crews and captains who have been vetted to meet our high standards and we expect them to provide you with a quality service for the duration of your time with us.

 

As a guide, an approximate gratuity, equal to $5/tank is greatly appreciated by the crew. You can add this to your final payment or hand it to the Captain directly. Gratuities are then divided equally between the crew. Should you wish to tip your instructor/guide then please tip them separately.

 

For groups of four (4) or more people and/or private charters we will charge an additional fifteen (15) percent to your charter fee and distribute it equally between your crew(s).

Insurance

Standard health and travel insurance policies do not always cover you for incidents relating to dive trips, for example: delayed or lost equipment, trip cancellations or, in very rare occasions, medical emergencies. (Policies differ by company/state etc. You are advised to check your coverage.)

 

Experience has demonstrated that the Divers Alert Network (DAN) offers a very robust and extensive line of coverage at competitive rates (starting from $40/yr).

 

Dive specific medical coverage:

  • Recommended: Recreational divers(no decompression & less than 130fsw/40m depth)

  • Mandatory: Technical divers (any decompression dives irrespective of depth and dives involving depths greater than 130fsw/40m or wreck penetration)

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your access to and control over information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

  • See what data we have about you, if any.
  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
