Medical Statement

Scuba Diving can be a physicaly demanding sport and being underwater can magnify certain medical conditions.

The Medical Statements, below, allow the diver/candidate to self certify theirselves as being medically fit to dive. If the diver expects a "Yes" response to any of the questions then a licensed physician will be required to "sign you off" as fit to dive.

Agencies

There are a lot of training agencies out there!

We use what might arguably by classified as "the big three". They are all good agencies with slightly different pros/cons depending on the type of diving you want to do in both the short and long term.

As well as deciding whether you like your instructor and feel they can deliver the traiing you need, you'll maybe want to ask yourself the following questions...

  • Do you 'just' wantto do recreational dives?
  • Do you want to go down a technical dive route?
  • Do you want to work in the industry?

We're always happy to talk about different agencies to help you decide.
