Gas Blender
Whether you dive on enriched air/trimix, or, you want to work in the scuba industry - the Gas Blender course is designed to train you to efficiently and, above all, safely fill scuba tanks with the mixes required by appropriately certified divers.
To safely serve the certified breathing gas diver you should understand the gas yourself. For this reason we have split the courses into Enriched Air and Trimix Blenders- “If you can dive it, you can be trained to mix it”
The Gas Blender and Trimix Blender certifications will allow you to mix your own gasses (if allowed by your local dive store) or to work in the industry and provide fills.
What You'll Learn
With your instructor you'll learn about:
- physical properties of oxygen, associated hazards and handling procedures
- special cleaning requirements
- multiple methods of making enriched air mixes
- various methods used to obtain the right helium mixes
Practical sessions will enable you to practice these skills and ensure reproducible ability to make the correct mixes.
